target audience
our target audience is aimed towards the demographic of 16-18 year olds. we believe this is a target audience to approach as we aim to educate the audience on the dangers of these actions whilst also entertaining them. we also believe our production is mature enough for this audience.
interactive video research
this interactive video seems to be aimed to younger audiences to educate them on being sensible with money and to not get yourself into debt with people. there are many child based themes in this production and it catches onto trends to attain views from its target demographic. i think this production was made well as it entices and entertains the young audience. i think this could have been improved by accommodating more adult themes to broaden their audience. for our production i would like to facilitate and incorporate their intuitiveness on how they made it interactive.
this interactive video was aimed towards a more mature audience such as 16+. i believe this is so that the producers can convey a serious message and educate the target audience on the repercussions of their actions. this video production could possibly change someones life and turn their life decisions around. i think this production is relevant due to a recent rise in knife crime and this is a serious subject. this video could combat this recent spike. personally i think this production is good however i would develop this more to include more choices and to show more impacts such as drugs etc.
shot list
Opening scene – first person camera shot as person A walks towards dealer, cuts to long shot to show both dealer and person A talking.cut to mid shot and first person to listen to the conversation. first person view of examining empty pot.chase cam of dealer running after person A, interchangeable with first person views.first person for exchange of money. fight scenes first person with black screen for the punch. we will need a tripod to keep camera steady in the long shots and mid shots

Final production
in conclusion, i believe that our interactive film went well and that the outcome is something that we didn’t expect. although it didn’t go exactly to plan and is shorter than we hoped for, i believe we tackled a controversial topic in a way thats educational and informs our target audience of possible things that can go wrong if you get mixed up in business you aren’t really a part of, the theme we aimed for came across in a way that showed danger and kept the audience entertained, we aimed to have more options to choose to keep the audiences attention and to make the way of consuming the product more active, however due to time constraints and problems with equipment we could not accommodate all of our initial idea into the final product. over the course of the project, personally i learnt a lot such as how to direct scenes to achieve a more professional product, i also learnt how to edit an interactive video. although i struggled to initially create the interactive video due to changes in YouTubes policies, i believe what we achieved as a group was good. In future, i will be sure to check all the equipment before moving to an offsite location to ensure everything is in a working order to make sure the filming schedule goes to plan. in my opinion I’m happy with my final outcome, considering the problems we ran into, i believe we managed to convey a serious message in a way that kept the audience watching throughout our short film. As a group we believed it could have gone better but we are still happy with our final outcome.
