narrative: Wolf Of Wall Street is based on a true story about a dodgy wall street businessman called Jordan Belfort. The film shows his climb up the stock market and his pleas, along with his friends, to create his own dodgy business. they set up a business that holds scripted calls to entice potential investors to invest in businesses that they can personally make profits off, doing anything it takes to get their investment. the film show Jordan’s drugs habit and how it effected his family life and business life. the film then goes on to show Jordan’s downfall with run ins with the FBI and gets tied in with fraud claims and multiple accusations.

use of colour: the use of colour in this film effects it as it helps portray the point in time that the film takes place (1980s).
lighting: lighting helps portray emotion as they use colours to influence the audiences emotions such as warm colours to show good emotions and cold colours to show bad emotions.
strengths: the film is excellently directed and the director chose actors who perfectly fit the role. there is never a boring part of the film and it is always entertaining and interesting. they also use great scenes such as the falling money scene and the boat scenes. they use high class cameras that always deliver high quality video.
improvements: there is nothing i would improve apart from the length of the film.
main protagonist:the main protagonist is Jordan Belfort. played by Leonardo Dicaprio. their character is a drug fuelled sex maniac who tries to get the best for himself screwing everyone else over in the process. he is reckless and has barely any thought to human life when it comes to money, the law or drugs.
