Barbara kruger utilizes black and white photos together with post shoot editing to create a contrasting photo that stands out. this particular style has been massively influential to modern culture as the aesthetics are recreated in the rare clothing brand “Supreme”. her ideas behind her work is very creative as it ensures the consumer views what she chose to highlight in particular. she uses words like your, I, you, we and they as a way to create an emotional connection to the person who is reading/viewing. Kruger also uses feminism to influence her ideas in her work.

this photo is another famous piece from Barbara Kruger, the man featured in this particular photo is Andy Warhol, one of the most influential men in art from his era. i think the particular quotes written around is influenced by mental health and how we doubt everything about ourselves to the point where we believe we are nothing. i think this work is still heavily influential still even in todays world purely to how it relates to the spike in mens mental health. in the picture we can see Warhol covering his ears as though he is trying to block out the voices in his head.
